We believe God has given us gifts and talents to be of service and blessing to other people. This is what ministry is all about. Jesus modeled His greatness not only by His teaching, but through how He lived and served others. This practice of giving and love brings wholeness to our lives and goodness to our world. Through it, God's name and ways are made known in all His beauty.
We locally partner with Compassion Network in meeting the needs of Fremont, Newark and Union City. Our neighbors tell us their needs on a weekly basis and we gather folks to meet that need. We also have opportunities to serve our world with special mission trips and projects. For example, we are leading a team of 14 people to Thailand this summer work against human trafficking and child sex slavery.
In terms of our church, service opportunities range from Sunday operations, to our building maintenance team, serving with our children's ministry or youth group, and many other needs.
