I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

What to Expect
We hope you will find our worship service spiritually meaningful and a place to meet others who seek to grow in faith, hope, and love.  We are a community of faith that is diverse and eclectic in many ways.  We are multi-ethnic, young and old, from different walks of life and professions.  Some of us are engineers, some of us don’t own a computer.  But we are united by our faith and desire to know God.

Many of us know all too well how uncomfortable and disorienting a religious service can be.  Although we never seek to water down worship, neither do we want to be insensitive to those of us who are new to the church thing.  If you are a Christian, we desire to challenge you to live more faithfully in the way of Jesus and experience the life-transforming power of the gospel.  For those us who are simply curious or on a new spiritual quest, we hope our worship service will be of help in your journey.  As a community of mercy, we desire to help all people who are seeking to know more about God and the Christian faith.  Our church is here for the believer, skeptic and everyone in between.

Each Sunday morning we gather as a community of people to celebrate God's presence through music, prayer, story, and Scripture.  When you arrive, you will find worship bulletins available to guide you through our service.  Typically, we will open with some songs of worship, followed by a short time of greeting one another.  After some announcements, we will recite the Apostles’ Creed together.  The Creed is an ancient declaration of the Christian faith, and we find it helpful to confess our faith together in a public way every week.  No one is forced to do this.  If you are not a believer, we invite you to take that time to examine what it is Christians believe in and hope for.  This is followed by a reading from Scripture and then the sermon.  Our sermons are usually around 40 minutes long.  We conclude with a song of commitment and then a short time of personal reflection and prayer.  There are other elements on some Sundays (The Lord’s Supper, a personal story of faith, special music, etc.), but the above is a good guide to our typical Sunday. Please feel free to actively participate in our worship, or simply observe and listen.

Our worship is from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. every Sunday morning.

Additionally, we serve a free lunch every Sunday of the year (except the 5th Sundays of the month).  This is after our worship service, located in the kitchen of our facility.  We welcome you to eat with us, hang out, ask questions, and make some new friends.
